Editorial policy
Creative Stage Journal aims to make its writing clear, careful and useful. We explain what a piece is about, distinguish a general suggestion from a firm claim, and revise the record when it needs attention.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable source material and take care not to present opinion, interpretation or creative preference as settled fact. When a subject has meaningful differences of view, we aim to describe those differences plainly. Our articles offer general information about creative practice, not a guarantee that one method will suit every project.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the reader's interest and the publication's subject, not as a condition of receiving a product, service or placement. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable editorial view. When material is created or placed in partnership, that relationship is identified clearly.
Corrections
If a reader spots a factual error or an unclear passage, they can send details through the Contact page. We review the information and correct material when warranted. Where a correction meaningfully changes a story, we aim to make the change and its nature clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; when that is the case, the illustration is identified accordingly. Images are used to support the subject, not to imply documentary evidence they do not provide.
